I'm impressed and somewhat annoyed at how well you got this to scan. Everything I do with coloured pencils goes all icky when the scanner has it's brutal way with them.
I think my favourite parts of this are the smooth and realistic looking gradients, especially along the tail feathers. The runes are a cool touch too. I love runes, they're so primal looking.
Now you and Tim have got a thing for your door, I'm going to have to keep up with the Joneses so to speak and do one myself. I was gonna do digital, but I should probably keep to the trend and take my rugged old coloured pencils for a spin. Maybe you can teach me the ways of the less-evil-than-Hitler scanner. xD
Adding this to my favourites, I think it's a great piece of work, especially having seen it in hardcopy. Excellent show indeed!
